Masterclass Series
The Masterclass Series is an official online public lecture program launched by the GYSH International Youth Science Writing Competition. The sessions are delivered by members of the competition’s founding team from leading universities worldwide, together with an authoritative advisory panel led by editors-in-chief of international academic journals.
The program follows an 8+2+6 format
The program is designed to give every student structured exposure to the approaches and ideas behind all competition tracks. It is particularly suitable for students who have not yet chosen a specific academic direction and are still exploring their interests.

8 sessions on scientific writing skills
Systematic instruction on the essential writing process-from selecting a topic to completing a final draft-covering literature searches, argument development, language refinement, and other key areas.

2 sessions of in-depth model essay analysis
Outstanding essays are carefully examined to reveal the thought processes, structure, and writing strategies behind high-scoring entries.

6 sessions of track-specific guidance
Each competition track is explored individually to help students identify effective approaches, entry points, and directions for their writing.

One live session will be held each week. Each session consists of two 45-minute class periods.
Replay access: From the date of registration until the end of the competition, participants may watch the session recordings an unlimited number of times.
